We can offer basic endoscopy at Phoenix Animal Wellness. Our endoscope is capable of visualising the oesphagus and stomach. This is vital for diagnosing ulcers of the upper digestive tract, inflammation, foreign bodies, pouches (diverticulum) in the oesophagus, amongst other things.
Endoscopy requires a full general anaesthetic, but animals recover very quickly and it is relatively non-invasive.
