Services

We offer all the healthcare services you would expect from your local vet, along with a range of specialist services. We have the most up to date ‘direct radiography’ x-ray, ultrasound, dental equipment and a comprehensive laboratory suite. All this alongside a brand new clinic with modern surgical, medical and kennel facilities. See below to view our range of services.

Surgery

Our spanking new surgical room is equipped with up to date anaesthetic machines and monitoring equipment. All pets undergoing general anaesthesia will be observed by a fully qualified veterinary nurse using respiratory, heart and blood pressure monitors, to ensure they are as safe as possible while asleep.

Orthopaedic Surgery

At Phoenix Animal Wellness we offer most first opinion and referral Orthopaedic surgeries. We work with Charles Barnard a specialist Orthopaedic surgeon.

Imaging, Penn Hip and Elbow Scoring

DR Xray means that there is no developer stage. We take the xray and the information is transmitted directly from the xray plate to the computer screen, saving time and streamlining the process. Our 4 way floating table makes positioning of your pet easier and more comfortable.

Most people have heard of acupuncture for people, but did you know how helpful it can be to our animal friends too?

Dentistry

Dog and cat dentistry has developed rapidly in the last few years, with dental disease being identified and treated much earlier than previously. We now know the huge benefits this brings to our pets and there are many products and foods on the markets to help us care for our pets dental health.

Laboratory Suite

We have the full range of haematology, biochemistry and urinalysis laboratory equipment. Your pet’s blood can be rapidly analysed to identify a wide range of illnesses such as anaemia, kidney disease, thyroid disorders, diabetes and many more.
